Welcome to our new blog highlighting the past, present, and future of the Butterfly Garden at Alice Keck Park Memorial Gardens in Santa Barbara, California. We are excited to see how this blog evolves and invite you to visit the butterflies in their downtown garden off Arrellaga Street between Garden Street and Santa Barbara Street. You are likely to see a turtle or two as well.
UC Master Gardeners are presently meeting at the garden on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month to keep the garden maintained. And since today is the fourth Tuesday of June, we’ll be there this afternoon preparing seeds and pots for propagating plants. Feel free to come by and say "hi"!
